How alternatives compare to Bestway

Bestway APX 365 31'4" x 16' Framed Pool

The Bestway APX 365 31'4" x 16' model offers significantly more surface area than the 20' x 20' original. It measures 376 inches in length and 192 inches in width, providing a rectangular shape that maximizes swimming space in large yards. Both pools share the same 52-inch height and galvanized steel construction, ensuring similar durability against the elements. The original square design fits tighter footprints, while this rectangular variant suits spacious backyards. You get the same sand filter pump for water clarity. Choose this if you need extra length for laps or larger gatherings, accepting the larger footprint in exchange for increased capacity.

Bestway Power Steel 24' x 12' x 52" Frame Pool

The Bestway Power Steel 24' x 12' pool differs in shape, offering a long rectangular layout instead of the original square form. It measures 288 inches by 144 inches, providing a different swimming experience suited for narrower yards with ample length. The 52-inch height matches the original, maintaining consistent wall strength. Both use galvanized steel frames and include sand filter pumps for reliable filtration. The Power Steel model is heavier at 351 pounds compared to the original's 292 pounds, indicating a robust build. Select this alternative if you prefer a lap-friendly rectangular design or have a yard that accommodates a longer, narrower footprint while keeping the same high-quality filtration system.

Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool

The Evajoy 32ft x 16ft pool provides a much larger rectangular swimming area than the 20' x 20' Bestway. It measures 384 inches by 192 inches, offering nearly double the surface area for large families. Like the original, it features a 52-inch height and includes a sand filter pump for clear water. The primary difference is the material focus, with PVC construction noted for durability. This model is heavier and requires more yard space. Choose this option if you prioritize maximum swimming capacity and a rectangular shape over the square layout of the Bestway APX 365. It is ideal for large backyards where space is not a constraint and you want a sturdy, high-capacity pool setup.

WaterThat 21ft Steel Frame Pool Kit

The WaterThat 21ft Steel Frame Pool is nearly square like the original but slightly larger at 180 inches by 180 inches. It offers a 52-inch height and includes a sand filter pump, ladder, and filter media, matching the original's comprehensive package. The main difference is the brand and specific frame design, with WaterThat emphasizing robust steel construction. This pool is a close alternative for those wanting a similar footprint with a slight size increase. It is suitable for yards that can accommodate a 21-foot diameter. Pick this if you prefer a slightly larger swimming area than the 20' x 20' original while maintaining the same easy assembly and filtration setup for year-round use.

Intex Ultra XTR 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Pool Set

The Intex Ultra XTR 32ft x 16ft pool is a massive rectangular option, measuring 384 inches by 192 inches. It features a 52-inch height and includes a saltwater filtration system, differing from the original's sand filter pump. This pool weighs 520 pounds, significantly heavier than the 292-pound Bestway, indicating a very sturdy frame. The saltwater system offers a different maintenance experience, potentially reducing chemical handling. Choose this alternative if you have a large yard and prefer saltwater convenience over sand filtration. It is best for those who want a premium, high-capacity rectangular pool with advanced water treatment, accepting the larger size and weight for superior swimming space and ease of use.

Intex Ultra XTR 20ft x 10ft Rectangular Pool

The Intex Ultra XTR 20ft x 10ft pool matches the original's 20-foot length but is much narrower at 10 feet wide. It measures 240 inches by 240 inches in total footprint dimensions but offers a rectangular shape. The 52-inch height and sand filter pump align with the Bestway APX 365 specs. This model weighs 303 pounds, slightly more than the original. It is ideal for yards with limited width but available length. Pick this if you need a pool that fits narrower spaces while maintaining a similar length. It provides a different swimming experience suited for lap swimming or smaller groups, offering a practical alternative when yard dimensions do not support a square layout.
