Looking Beyond the Bestway APX 365 31'4" x? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How alternatives differ from Bestway APX 365

Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool

The Evajoy model offers a slightly larger footprint at 32 feet by 16 feet, providing more surface area than the Bestway APX 365. Both pools share the same 52-inch height and include sand filter pumps for consistent water clarity. The Evajoy uses a metal frame with PVC construction, similar to the Bestway’s galvanized steel design. You get a ladder and pool cover with this unit, matching the essentials included in the Bestway kit. The main difference is the extended length, which may suit larger yards better. If you need extra swimming space without changing the filtration method, this is a direct upgrade in size.

WaterThat 21ft Steel Frame Pool Kit

The WaterThat pool is significantly smaller, measuring 21 feet in both length and width. This square design contrasts with the Bestway’s rectangular shape, making it a better fit for compact yards where the 31-foot length would not fit. Both units feature steel frames and 52-inch heights. You also receive a sand filter pump and ladder with the WaterThat kit, ensuring similar maintenance standards. The trade-off is a substantial reduction in overall volume and swimming area. If your primary goal is to have a functional pool in a tight space, this compact option provides the necessary durability and filtration without the bulk of the larger Bestway model.

Intex Ultra XTR 32x16 ft

The Intex Ultra XTR matches the Bestway APX 365 in dimensions, offering a 32-foot by 16-foot footprint. Both pools utilize sand filter pumps for efficient cleaning. However, the Intex model lists a height of 59.5 inches, which is taller than the Bestway’s 52-inch profile. This increased height may provide a more commanding presence in your yard. The Intex also weighs 490 pounds, suggesting a robust structure. You get a complete system focused on durability and large-scale swimming. If you prefer a slightly taller pool with comparable filtration and size, this Intex variant serves as a strong alternative to the Bestway APX 365.

Bestway APX 365 20' x 52" Pool Set

The Bestway APX 365 20-foot model shares the same brand lineage and design philosophy but scales down significantly. This version measures 20 feet in length, making it much shorter than the 31-foot original. It retains the 52-inch height and includes a sand filter pump for reliable water treatment. The steel frame construction mirrors the durability of the larger model. You sacrifice over 11 feet of length, which reduces the total swimming area considerably. This option is ideal if you have a smaller yard but still want the trusted Bestway build quality and filtration system. It offers a practical compromise between space constraints and pool performance.

Bestway Power Steel 24' x 12' x 52" Frame Pool

The Bestway Power Steel model is a mid-size option at 24 feet by 12 feet. It is smaller than the Bestway APX 365 in both length and width, making it suitable for medium-sized backyards. Both pools feature galvanized steel frames and 52-inch heights. You also receive a sand filter pump with this unit, ensuring consistent water quality. The trade-off is a noticeable reduction in overall capacity and swimming space. If you do not need the expansive area of the 31-foot model, this Power Steel version provides reliable durability and filtration in a more manageable footprint. It is a practical choice for those prioritizing ease of space over maximum volume.

Intex Ultra XTR 20ft x 10ft Rectangular Pool

The Intex Ultra XTR 20-foot model is a compact rectangular pool designed for smaller spaces. It measures 20 feet by 10 feet, which is significantly smaller than the Bestway APX 365. Both pools include sand filter pumps for effective water circulation. The Intex unit stands 52 inches tall, matching the height of the Bestway. You get a durable structure focused on easy assembly and maintenance. The main difference is the reduced size, which limits swimming area but fits tighter yards. If you need a reliable sand-filtered pool but lack the space for a 31-foot installation, this Intex model offers a practical, space-efficient alternative with comparable filtration technology.
