Bestway Power Steel 31'4" x Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How alternatives compare to the original

Intex Ultra XTR 32x16 ft

The Intex Ultra XTR 32x16 ft offers a slightly larger footprint at 32 feet long compared to the Bestway’s 31 feet 4 inches. Both share the same 16-foot width and 52-inch height, but the Intex model is heavier at 490 pounds versus 487 pounds. It also uses a sand filter pump, matching the original’s filtration method. You get a reinforced steel frame for stability, similar to the Bestway Power Steel construction. This pick suits large yards where every extra inch of swimming space matters. It provides a complete setup with included accessories, just like the Bestway. If you prefer a marginally larger surface area and do not mind the slight weight difference, this is a strong alternative.

Bestway APX 365 31'4" x 16' Framed Pool

The Bestway APX 365 shares the exact same dimensions as the original model, measuring 31 feet 4 inches by 16 feet with a 52-inch height. It also weighs 487 pounds and includes a sand filter pump. The primary difference lies in the specific model line, which may offer updated frame technology or liner materials. Since the specs are nearly identical, this variant is for buyers who want the same capacity and filtration but prefer the APX series branding. It provides the same 13,798-gallon water capacity when filled to 90 percent. You get a rust-resistant frame and a complete kit. Choose this if you like the original layout but want the APX design features.

Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool

The Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool matches the 16-foot width and 52-inch height of the Bestway original. It is slightly longer at 32 feet, giving you more horizontal swimming space. The weight is not listed, but the steel frame construction offers similar durability. It includes a sand filter pump, ladder, and pool cover, matching the original’s included essentials. The liner material is PVC, which is standard but may differ from the Bestway’s TriTech liner. This option is best for those who want a comparable size with a slightly longer shape. It provides a complete backyard pool experience with clear water filtration. Pick this if you prioritize a longer swimming lane and a full accessory kit.

WaterThat 21ft Steel Frame Pool Kit

The WaterThat 21ft Steel Frame Pool Kit is significantly smaller than the Bestway Power Steel original. It measures 21 feet by 21 feet with a 52-inch height, offering much less swimming area. It includes a sand filter pump and ladder, similar to the larger models. This mid-size option is ideal for backyards where space is limited. You get a complete DIY kit with durable steel framing. While it lacks the expansive capacity of the 31-foot models, it provides a practical solution for smaller yards. Choose this if you need a robust filtration system but cannot accommodate a 31-foot pool. It is a solid choice for those prioritizing footprint over volume.

Bestway APX 365 20' x 52" Pool Set

The Bestway APX 365 20' x 52" Pool Set is a mid-size alternative to the large original. It measures 20 feet by 20 feet with a 52-inch height, offering considerably less space than the 31-foot model. It weighs 292 pounds, making it lighter and potentially easier to manage. It includes a sand filter pump and features a tool-free setup. This pick suits medium-sized yards where the original’s large footprint is impractical. You get a durable frame and complete filtration system in a more compact design. Choose this if you want the Bestway quality but need a smaller installation. It provides a solid swimming experience for smaller households or limited outdoor areas.

Intex Ultra XTR 20ft x 10ft Rectangular Pool

The Intex Ultra XTR 20ft x 10ft Rectangular Pool is a smaller option compared to the original Bestway model. It measures 20 feet by 10 feet with a 52-inch height, offering a narrower swimming area. It weighs 303 pounds, which is lighter than the 487-pound original. It includes a sand filter pump and steel frame construction for durability. This pick is best for smaller yards where the original’s 31-foot length is too large. You get a practical rectangular pool with reliable filtration. Choose this if you need a durable, smaller pool that fits compact spaces. It provides essential features in a more manageable size for limited backyard areas.
