Looking Beyond the Confer Plastics Storage Step Spas Hot? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Comparing Alternatives to Confer Step

Intex PureSpa 6-Person Hot Tub with Insulated Cover

The Intex PureSpa 6-Person Hot Tub with Insulated Cover replaces a simple entry step with a full six-person seating area. At 85 inches wide and 28 inches high, it provides substantial space compared to the Confer step’s 36-inch width. This model prioritizes heat retention through its insulated cover, a feature the step lacks entirely. You gain a complete hydrotherapy experience rather than just a stable platform. However, you give up the dedicated storage compartment and the low-profile design. This option suits groups needing ample seating and efficient heat maintenance, rather than users seeking a compact accessory for an existing tub.

Intex PureSpa 6-Person Inflatable Hot Tub

The Intex PureSpa 6-Person Inflatable Hot Tub expands your options from a single step to a large, 94-inch square spa. It accommodates six people and weighs 130 pounds, offering far more capacity than the 26-pound Confer step. The 28-inch height matches the taller step variants, providing a comfortable entry point. This unit focuses on structural stability and water quality maintenance, making it ideal for households prioritizing group seating. You lose the convenience of the built-in storage bin found on the Confer step. This alternative is best for buyers who want a standalone spa solution with robust heat retention rather than a simple accessory.

Intex SimpleSpa 4-Person 100-Jet Inflatable Hot Tub

The Intex SimpleSpa 4-Person 100-Jet Inflatable Hot Tub offers a compact alternative to the Confer step by providing a complete small-group spa. It features 100 jets for targeted massage, a feature absent in the step. This model is designed for durability and heat retention in smaller spaces. While the Confer step supports 300 pounds on its platform, this tub seats four people comfortably. You trade the step’s removable storage compartment for a full hydrotherapy system. This option suits small groups seeking a straightforward, durable spa without complex smart features. It is a practical choice for those who want a complete unit rather than an accessory.

Intex PureSpa 4-Person Hot Tub with Insulated Cover

The Intex PureSpa 4-Person Hot Tub with Insulated Cover provides a stable, insulated air-bubble spa compared to the Confer step’s static platform. At 77 inches wide, it offers more room than the step’s 36-inch width. The 28-inch height and insulated cover enhance heat retention, addressing a key limitation of the step. This model suits small groups prioritizing insulation and gentle air bubbles. You give up the step’s hidden storage compartment and multi-functional design. This alternative is ideal for buyers who want a complete, energy-efficient spa experience with stable construction, rather than a simple entry aid for an existing tub.

Intex PureSpa 6-Person Bubble Massage Hot Tub

The Intex PureSpa 6-Person Bubble Massage Hot Tub offers a straightforward inflatable setup for groups of six, contrasting with the Confer step’s single-user platform. At 85 inches wide and 28 inches high, it provides significant seating and a comfortable entry height. This model includes a hard water softener and accessories, focusing on basic functionality. You lose the step’s durable resin construction and removable storage bin. This option suits those who do not need smart features or a taller design. It is a practical choice for groups seeking a simple, inflatable spa with essential features, rather than a specialized accessory for entry and storage.

Coleman SaluSpa 7-Person Round Inflatable Hot Tub

The Coleman SaluSpa 7-Person Round Inflatable Hot Tub offers a round, 85-inch diameter spa with freeze protection, differing significantly from the Confer step. It seats seven people and uses air jets for massage, features the step lacks. The 28-inch height provides a stable entry point, while the insulated cover aids thermal retention. This model suits buyers in eligible regions who prioritize air jets and heat over smart features. You give up the step’s compact size and dedicated storage compartment. This alternative is best for large groups seeking a complete spa solution with ample seating and freeze protection, rather than a simple entry aid.
