Key specs explained for this panel
Panel Material: Stainless steel
This material choice ensures the unit resists rust and corrosion in humid bathroom environments. Stainless steel is durable and easy to clean, maintaining its appearance over time. You benefit from a long-lasting fixture that does not require special coatings. When comparing shower systems, prioritize stainless steel over plastic or coated metals for better longevity and structural integrity in wet areas.
Overhead Spray Type: Rainfall
A rainfall spray type delivers a wide, gentle stream of water from above. This mimics natural rain, providing a relaxing shower experience rather than a high-pressure blast. It is ideal for users who prefer a soothing, full-body coverage. When shopping for shower panels, consider rainfall heads for spa-like relaxation, distinct from standard handheld or jet-focused options found in other bathroom setups.
Length: 52 inches
This height determines how tall the unit stands in your shower space. A 52-inch length is substantial, covering a significant portion of the wall for multiple spray functions. Ensure your ceiling height accommodates this dimension to avoid a cramped feel. Compare this measurement with your existing shower enclosure to guarantee proper fit and adequate clearance for comfortable use and maintenance access.
Width: 12.2 inches
The width indicates how much horizontal wall space the panel occupies. At 12.2 inches, it is moderately wide, allowing for integrated features like shelves or multiple jets without overwhelming small showers. Check your shower wall dimensions to ensure this footprint fits comfortably. A narrower width might suit very tight spaces, while wider panels offer more functional integration for larger bathrooms.
Height: 17.9 inches
This dimension likely refers to the width or a specific component height, as the total length is 52 inches. It helps determine the vertical space required for the control valve or lower fixtures. Verify this measurement against your shower valve placement to ensure alignment. Accurate height planning prevents installation issues and ensures all components, including the tub spout, are accessible and properly positioned for daily use.
