Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this unit if you need a simple, durable rinse station for your poolside or garden. The 88.2-inch height suits most adults, and the rotating head helps wash off sand or chlorine effectively. The acacia wood and rattan materials blend well with natural outdoor decor. If you want a stable, no-fuss solution that does not require complex assembly or electrical connections, this freestanding shower fits your needs. It is ideal for beach houses or backyard pools where quick cleanup is essential.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need a compact unit for small balconies. The 23.6-inch width and 21.7-inch depth require a dedicated footprint. You might also look elsewhere if you prefer a wall-mounted system to save floor space. This model is freestanding and relies on its steel frame for stability, so it may not suit uneven ground without leveling. Additionally, if you require multiple spray settings or temperature control, this single rotating head may not meet your expectations. It is a basic rinse station, not a luxury spa feature.
Verdict: This freestanding shower offers a sturdy, weather-resistant rinse option with a practical rotating head. It is a solid choice for poolside or garden use where simple functionality matters most.
Key specs for this shower
Overall Height: 88.2 Inch
This height allows most adults to stand upright while rinsing off. You do not need to hunch over, which makes the experience more comfortable after swimming or gardening. When comparing outdoor rinsing stations, this dimension ensures the unit fits standard plumbing heights and provides adequate clearance for shower heads.
Primary Material: Acacia wood and synthetic rattan
Acacia wood offers a natural aesthetic that blends well with garden decor, while synthetic rattan adds durability against moisture. This combination helps the structure resist weather elements better than pure wood or plastic alone. You benefit from a design that maintains its appearance over time without requiring frequent refinishing or maintenance.
Spray Outlets: Rotating shower head
A rotating shower head lets you adjust the water direction easily. You can target specific areas of your body or the ground to rinse off sand and pool chemicals effectively. This feature provides flexibility compared to fixed heads, allowing you to customize the spray pattern for different rinsing needs around the pool or patio.
Weight: 42.8 pounds
This weight indicates a sturdy build that remains stable during use. It is heavy enough to resist tipping in moderate winds but light enough for one person to move if necessary. When evaluating freestanding units, this balance ensures safety and security without requiring permanent anchoring or complex installation procedures for your outdoor space.
Design and Build Details
The listing specifies that the frame combines high-quality acacia wood with durable synthetic rattan. This blend aims to withstand outdoor elements while maintaining an elegant aesthetic. The structure relies on a heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame for stability. This rust-resistant foundation is designed to ensure safety during use, particularly when the unit is exposed to moisture or humidity common in garden or poolside settings.
In terms of dimensions, the unit stands 88.2 inches tall, with a width of 23.6 inches and a length of 21.7 inches. The overall weight is listed at 42.8 pounds. This footprint allows for placement in various outdoor areas, including by the pool or within a lush garden. The 2-inch port size indicates the connection standard for your water supply line. You should verify that your existing plumbing matches this specification before installation to ensure a secure fit.
Control is managed through a rotating shower head. This adjustable feature allows you to direct the water flow easily, which is useful for rinsing off sand or chlorine after swimming. The listing notes that assembly is designed for quick setup with clear instructions. The black color finish complements the natural wood tones, creating a sleek look that integrates with most outdoor living spaces without overwhelming the area.
Setup and everyday use guide
Setting up this freestanding unit is designed to be straightforward. The listing notes that it comes with clear instructions to help you assemble it quickly. You will need to connect the water supply to the specified 2-inch port. This standard size should work with most common garden hoses or poolside plumbing fixtures without requiring special adapters. Once the frame is secured, the heavy-duty powder-coated steel base provides a solid foundation. The dimensions of 23.6 inches in width and 21.7 inches in length offer a stable footprint. This base width helps prevent tipping when you are standing on the platform or leaning against the structure.
Daily use is centered around the rotating shower head. This feature allows you to adjust the water direction easily. You can aim the spray toward specific areas of your body or the ground. The overall height of 88.2 inches means most adults can stand upright. You do not need to bend significantly, which reduces strain on your back after swimming or gardening. The synthetic rattan and acacia wood materials are chosen for their weather-resistant properties. This means you can leave the unit outdoors without immediate concern for damage from sun or rain. The black finish complements various outdoor decors. The entire unit weighs 42.8 pounds. This weight is substantial enough to stay in place during normal use but light enough to move if you need to rearrange your patio or pool area layout.
Check Compatibility And Maintenance
You should verify your water supply compatibility before purchasing. The listing specifies a 2-inch port, so ensure your existing plumbing or hose adapters match this size. Without the correct fittings, you cannot connect the unit to your water source. Regular maintenance is necessary to preserve the acacia wood and synthetic rattan. Clean the surfaces periodically to prevent dirt buildup and maintain the rust-resistant finish of the steel frame. This shower is a standalone rinsing station, not a hot tub or spa. It does not heat water or provide jets. Use it to rinse off pool chlorine, sand, or garden soil after outdoor activities. It complements your existing hot tub by offering a convenient post-soak rinse area. Consider its placement near your pool or garden for maximum convenience. The freestanding design allows you to move it if needed, provided you disconnect the water line. This practical addition enhances your outdoor living space without requiring complex installation.
