6 Best Alternatives to the Intex 26745EP 16ft X 48in (2026)

How these alternatives compare

Bestway Steel Pro MAX 14ft x 48in Round Pool Set

The Bestway Steel Pro MAX 14ft x 48in Round Pool Set offers a more compact footprint for smaller yards. It measures 168 inches in width and length, making it smaller than the 16-foot Intex model. At 129 pounds, it is significantly lighter than the 170-pound Intex pool, which simplifies handling. Both pools share the same 48-inch height and include a filter pump, ladder, and pool cover. You should choose this Bestway option if your space is limited and you prefer a lighter structure. It gives up some water volume but retains the same easy setup and essential accessories found in the original Intex design.

Bestway Steel Pro MAX 15' x 48" Pool Set

The Bestway Steel Pro MAX 15' x 48" Pool Set sits between the 14ft and 16ft models in size. It weighs 128 pounds, which is lighter than the 170-pound Intex 26745EP. Both pools feature a 48-inch height and include a filter pump, ladder, and pool cover. This Bestway model provides a slightly larger diameter than the 14ft version but remains smaller than the 16ft Intex. You might pick this alternative if you want a balance between space and weight. It offers similar corrosion-resistant features and a complete accessory package, though it does not match the maximum water capacity of the larger Intex frame pool.

Intex Prism Frame 16.6' x 9' x 48" Pool Set

The Intex Prism Frame 16.6' x 9' x 48" Pool Set changes the shape from round to rectangular. It measures 198 inches in length and 108 inches in width, offering a different swimming layout than the circular Intex 26745EP. Weighing 211 pounds, it is heavier than the 170-pound original. Both models are 48 inches high and include a filter pump and ladder. However, the rectangular version does not list a pool cover in its features. You should select this option if you need a rectangular swimming area for lap swimming or specific yard shapes. It provides a spacious, elongated design while maintaining the same frame quality and filtration system.

Intex Prism Frame 20ft Round Pool Set

The Intex Prism Frame 20ft Round Pool Set provides a much larger diameter and greater depth than the 16ft model. It measures 20 feet across and stands 52 inches high, compared to the 48-inch height of the original. At 251 pounds, it is substantially heavier than the 170-pound Intex 26745EP. Both pools share the same Prism Frame construction and include a filter pump, ladder, and pool cover. You should choose this larger Intex model if you have ample yard space and prioritize deep swimming areas. It offers more water volume and a robust frame, though it requires more space and effort to set up compared to the standard 16-foot version.

Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool

The Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool is a massive option for large backyards. It measures 384 inches in length and 192 inches in width, far exceeding the 16-foot diameter of the Intex 26745EP. At 52 inches high, it is taller than the original 48-inch pool. This model includes a sand filter pump, which differs from the cartridge filter in the Intex. Both include a ladder and pool cover. You should pick this Evajoy pool if you need a large rectangular swimming area and prefer sand filtration for clarity. It provides exceptional structural stability and water volume, though it requires significantly more space and is not suitable for small yards.

Intex 15' x 48" Round Metal Frame Pool Set

The Intex 15' x 48" Round Metal Frame Pool Set is a slightly smaller round alternative to the 16ft model. It measures 180 inches in width and length, making it narrower than the 16-foot Intex 26745EP. Weighing 149 pounds, it is lighter than the 170-pound original. Both pools are 48 inches high and include a filter pump and ladder. However, this 15ft model does not list a pool cover in its features. You should choose this Intex option if you want a compact round pool with easier assembly and a smaller footprint. It retains the familiar Intex frame quality but offers less water volume and fewer included accessories than the larger 16-foot version.
