Who it fits

Key specs explained for this pool

Dimensions: 15 ft

This diameter provides ample surface area for swimming or lounging. You will have enough room for multiple users without feeling cramped. Compare this size to smaller 12-foot models if you need space for families. The round shape ensures uniform depth and structural balance. This size fits well in most standard backyards while remaining manageable for setup.

Pool Height: 48 in

A 48-inch wall height offers a substantial water volume and a comfortable seating depth. You can sit back and relax without your knees hitting the bottom. This height is taller than many entry-level pools, providing a more premium feel. It also helps keep debris out of the water. Check your fence height to ensure this model fits your outdoor space constraints.

Water Capacity: 4,440 gallons

This volume indicates a large reservoir that retains heat better than smaller pools. You will use more water and chemicals, but the temperature stays stable longer. Compare this capacity to compact hot tubs if you prioritize thermal mass. The large volume supports the pump's circulation rate effectively. Ensure your deck or ground can support the weight of this water load.

Filter Pump Type: Cartridge filter pump

This pump type uses replaceable cartridges to trap dirt and particles. You will need to clean or swap these cartridges regularly to maintain clear water. Cartridge filters are generally easier to maintain than sand or diatomaceous earth systems. The included Krystal Clear pump ensures basic filtration. This setup is practical for owners who prefer straightforward maintenance routines without complex backwashing.

Design and build of the pool

The listing describes a sophisticated woodgrain exterior in gray. This finish is applied to a large profile frame construction. The frame enhances strength for the 15-foot diameter and 48-inch height. The design uses innovated T-joints to provide ultimate durability. You get a round pool that sits above ground. The structure is built to hold 4,440 gallons of water at 90% capacity. This volume requires a level surface. The round shape distributes weight evenly against the frame.

Assembly is listed as quick and easy with no tools required. The listing states it can be ready for water in 45 minutes. This means you spend less time on setup. The set includes a ground cloth to protect the liner. It also includes a pool cover and a ladder. The included pump is the Intex model 28637EG Krystal Clear cartridge filter pump. It has a flow rate of 1,000 gallons per hour. Hydro Aeration Technology improves circulation and water clarity. This feature increases negative ions in the water. The cartridge filter type means you clean the element rather than backwashing. You need to access the pump for maintenance. The layout is simple with no complex controls. The design focuses on straightforward backyard use.

Setup and everyday use guide

You can assemble this pool in about 45 minutes. The listing states that no tools are required for the quick and easy assembly process. This means you do not need to gather specific hardware or spend time on complex mechanical steps. The large profile frame construction and innovated T-joints are designed to enhance strength and provide ultimate durability during this setup phase. You will need a flat, level surface for the ground cloth to protect the pool liner. The included pool ladder allows you to enter and exit the 48-inch high walls safely. Once assembled, the pool holds 4,440 gallons of water when filled to 90 percent capacity. For everyday use, the included Intex model 28637EG Krystal Clear cartridge filter pump is essential. It provides a pump flow rate of 1,000 gallons per hour. This circulation helps maintain water clarity and hygiene. The pump features Hydro Aeration Technology, which improves filtration and increases negative ions in the water. You should use the included pool cover when the pool is not in use to keep debris out and retain heat. The round shape and 15-foot diameter offer ample space for swimming or lounging. You can enjoy the sophisticated woodgrain exterior in gray while using the pool for backyard recreation. The cartridge filter pump requires regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. You will need to replace the cartridge periodically as specified by the manufacturer. The setup is straightforward, and daily maintenance focuses on the filtration system and water quality.

Before you buy this pool

This pool sits in the Hot Tubs & Spas category, but it is a swimming pool, not a spa. You must check your local zoning laws before installation. Many areas require setbacks from property lines or fences. The 48-inch height is substantial. You need a level, solid surface to support the weight. A 4,440-gallon capacity means significant water volume. You will need a hose with adequate flow to fill it. The included cartridge filter pump requires regular cleaning. You should buy extra cartridges in advance. The pump uses Hydro Aeration Technology for clarity. You must maintain water chemistry weekly. Chlorine or bromine tablets are necessary. The frame construction is durable, but you should store the cover properly when not in use. This model suits those wanting a large swimming area. It does not offer the heating or jet features of a hot tub. If you want relaxation with heat, this is not the right choice. It is strictly for swimming and cooling off.

Check before you buy

• Verify local zoning laws and setback requirements
• Ensure you have a level, solid base
• Confirm water hose flow rate is sufficient
• Purchase extra cartridge filters for maintenance
• Check if you need a hot tub instead
