Comparing key specs and shapes
Bestway Steel Pro MAX 14' x 33" Round Pool
The Bestway Steel Pro MAX offers a round shape instead of the Intex rectangular layout. Its 14-foot diameter provides a 2,700-gallon capacity, which is larger than the Intex 1,883-gallon model. You get a circular basin that fits well in open yards. The frame is corrosion-resistant, and the liner is puncture-resistant. It weighs slightly less at 78 pounds compared to the Intex 86.1 pounds. This option suits those who prefer circular geometry and extra water volume over the long swimming lanes of the rectangular design.
Intex 14'9" x 7'3" Rectangular Frame Pool
This Intex model keeps the same 14ft 9in by 7ft 3in rectangular footprint and 33-inch height. It includes a filter pump, whereas the original metal frame pool does not bundle one. The liner is 3-Ply PVC, similar to the base model. It weighs 85.6 pounds, nearly identical to the 86.1-pound original. You gain integrated filtration with this version, simplifying setup if you do not want to purchase a pump separately. It is the better choice if you want a complete system out of the box without adding extra accessories.
EVAJOY 14ft Rectangular Metal Frame Pool
The EVAJOY pool matches the rectangular shape and 33-inch height of the Intex 14ft 9in. It measures 14ft by 7ft, offering a slightly shorter length of 156 inches versus 177 inches. The width is 84 inches, narrower than the Intex 86.6 inches. It weighs 78 pounds, making it lighter and easier to move. The material is PVC. This model is a solid budget alternative that sacrifices a small amount of length and width for a lighter frame. It fits well in standard backyards where the full Intex dimensions might be tight.
Bestway Steel Pro MAX 10' x 30" Pool with Pump
The Bestway Steel Pro MAX 10ft is a round pool with a 30-inch height. It is significantly smaller than the 14ft 9in Intex, with a 10-foot diameter. It includes a filter pump, unlike the base Intex model. The weight is only 16.9 pounds, making it much lighter and easier to handle. This option is ideal for small yards or compact spaces where the larger rectangular pools will not fit. You trade maximum swimming capacity and depth for a compact footprint and included filtration.
Intex 12ft x 30in Round Metal Frame Pool with Filter Pump
The Intex 12ft Round Pool offers a 30-inch height and a 12-foot diameter. It is smaller than the 14ft 9in rectangular model, with a 144-inch width and length. It includes a filter pump, which the original metal frame pool lacks. The weight is 49.1 pounds, lighter than the 86.1-pound Intex rectangle. This round option suits casual swimmers in smaller yards. You get reliable filtration and easy setup, but you give up the longer swimming space and higher capacity of the larger rectangular design.
Bestway Steel Pro MAX 15' x 48" Pool
The Bestway Steel Pro MAX 15ft 48in is a round pool with a 48-inch height. It is deeper than the 33-inch Intex 14ft 9in, providing more water volume for swimming. The diameter is 15 feet, larger than the 14ft 9in length of the rectangular pool. It weighs 90.7 pounds, slightly heavier than the Intex. This model suits buyers seeking deeper water and high capacity. You must buy accessories separately, similar to the base Intex. It is the best choice if you prioritize depth and a large round swimming area over a rectangular layout.
