Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this unit if you have a sunny outdoor space and want to reduce electricity costs. It suits pool owners, beachgoers, and gardeners who need to rinse off sand, chlorine, or dirt quickly. The foot tap is ideal for keeping muddy paws or shoes clean before entering your home. The universal hose fit ensures easy installation on decks or concrete. If you prefer a durable, maintenance-free shower that heats water naturally, this model fits your needs perfectly.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you live in an area with frequent cloud cover or limited direct sunlight. The tank relies entirely on solar energy, so water may not reach the maximum 140°F on overcast days. It also lacks an integrated pump or battery backup, meaning water pressure depends on your hose connection. If you need instant hot water regardless of weather conditions, or if you require a compact unit for small balconies, this freestanding 84.7-inch tower may not suit your space or expectations.
Verdict: This solar shower delivers reliable warm water for outdoor rinsing tasks without using electricity. It is a solid choice for sunny yards where convenience and eco-friendly heating matter most.
Key specs explained for this unit
Tank size: 20L
This capacity holds approximately 5.3 gallons of water. You get enough volume for a full rinse but not enough for a soak. This size suits quick outdoor cleanups rather than hydrotherapy. When comparing hot tubs, note that spas typically hold hundreds of gallons. This unit is for showering, not bathing, so the smaller volume is appropriate for its intended use.
Max temperature: 140°F
The black PVC tank absorbs solar energy to reach this heat level. You can mix this hot water with cold hose water to adjust the temperature. This range allows for comfortable rinsing after beach or pool visits. It provides warm water without electricity costs. This heating method relies on direct sunlight, so performance varies with weather conditions and time of day.
Shower head: 360° Swivel
The rotating head allows you to direct water flow at any angle. You can cover your entire body without moving the shower unit itself. This feature adds flexibility for rinsing off sand or dirt. It mimics the coverage found in indoor bathrooms. The swivel design ensures you do not miss spots, making the shower experience more efficient and comfortable for daily outdoor use.
Handheld hose: 1.5M
The extended hose provides extra reach for targeted rinsing. You can wash hard-to-reach areas or clean garden gear easily. The length allows you to move around the shower base without losing water pressure. This flexibility is useful for pet bathing or washing muddy shoes. It adds convenience compared to fixed-head showers, giving you more control over where the water goes.
Foot tap: Zinc Alloy
The foot-operated faucet is built from corrosion-resistant zinc alloy. You can rinse your feet without using your hands, keeping your hands clean. This design is sturdy and leak-proof, ensuring reliable operation over time. It is ideal for washing off sand or mud before entering your home. The material choice suggests durability against outdoor elements and frequent use.
Design and build overview

This footprint allows it to sit securely on concrete or wooden decks. The listing notes the inclusion of four expansion bolts for permanent mounting. This design prioritizes windproof stability and prevents tipping during use.

Before You Buy This Shower
You need to verify your hose compatibility before installing this unit. It includes a GHT 3/4 inch adapter, but your existing garden hose might require a different connection. Ensure you have the necessary tools for the four expansion bolts to secure the base on concrete or wood. This prevents tipping in windy conditions. Since it heats water to 140°F using solar energy, you must place it in direct sunlight for optimal performance. Regularly check the rubber gaskets and the built-in filter screen to prevent clogging and leaks. Clean the tank after each use to remove debris. This outdoor shower is not a hot tub. It lacks the jets and insulation of a 1-product spa collection. Use it for rinsing off sand or cleaning pets. It fits well as a supplementary station near your main hot tub area. Store the included dust cover during winter to protect the PVC tank from weather damage. This ensures the unit lasts through multiple seasons.
