Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this hot tub if you want a compact spa for two people. The 100 air jets are suitable for those seeking gentle bubble massage rather than targeted hydrotherapy. The durable PVC construction works well for users who need a lightweight, portable option that is easy to store. The digital controls are ideal for buyers who prefer straightforward temperature management. This model fits small patios, balconies, or indoor areas where space is limited.
Who should skip it
Skip this model if you need deep tissue massage. The 100 air jets create bubbles rather than providing targeted water pressure. You should look elsewhere if you require more than two seats, as the 75 by 47 inch footprint only accommodates two people. This tub also lacks a built-in ground mat, so you must purchase one separately for proper insulation. If you need a remote control or smart app connectivity, this digital panel does not offer those features.
Verdict: The RELXTIME PH050012 is a solid choice for two people seeking gentle bubble massage in a durable, compact inflatable spa. Its straightforward digital controls and air jet system make it a practical option for small spaces.
Key Specs Explained For You
Jet Count: 100
This model features 100 air jets. These jets release air into the water to create a bubble massage effect. You get widespread coverage across the seating area. This setup targets muscle tension through gentle pressure. Compare this count with other tubs to gauge massage intensity. More jets generally mean a more vigorous hydrotherapy experience for your body.
Jet Type: air jets
The tub uses air jets rather than water jets. This creates a softer, bubbling sensation on your skin. It is less aggressive than high-pressure water systems. This type of massage is ideal for stress relief. You can enjoy a soothing soak without intense water impact. Consider this feature if you prefer a gentle, relaxing spa environment over deep tissue pressure.
Material: premium laminated PVC
The shell is constructed from premium laminated PVC. This material offers puncture resistance and durability. It helps the tub maintain its shape during use. The lamination adds strength to the inflatable structure. You benefit from a sturdy build that withstands regular inflation and deflation. Check this material type when comparing longevity against cheaper vinyl alternatives in the market.
Seating Capacity: 2 Person
This unit is designed to seat two adults comfortably. The interior dimensions allow for a relaxed fit for two users. You can share the space with a partner or friend. Ensure you account for body size when planning usage. Compare this capacity with larger models if you host groups often. This size is suitable for couples seeking private, intimate spa sessions.
Design And Build Quality
According to the listing, the RELXTIME PH050012 uses premium laminated PVC. This material choice aims for puncture resistance and shape stability. The construction is lightweight at 64.5 pounds. This weight makes the unit easy to move and store when not in use. The black finish provides a neutral look that fits various outdoor or indoor spaces. You should place a thick ground mat underneath for better insulation, as the listing notes heating may take longer in cold weather.
The unit measures 75 inches in length, 47 inches in width, and 25.6 inches in height. This footprint accommodates two people comfortably. The digital control panel sits on the rim for easy access. You can adjust water temperature and bubble settings directly from this interface. The panel also monitors the filtration system. If the filter loses effectiveness, it displays an FC error code. This feature helps maintain water clarity without constant manual checks.
The layout includes 100 air jets distributed across the seating area. These jets create a bubble massage effect. The design prioritizes widespread coverage rather than targeted pressure points. The removable filtration system keeps water clean. You can access it for routine maintenance. The overall build focuses on practicality and durability for portable use. It suits users who want a simple setup with reliable basic controls.
Setup And Daily Operation Guide
Setup begins with inflation. The unit weighs 64.5 pounds, making it manageable for one person to move. You place the tub on a flat surface. The listing recommends a thick ground mat for insulation, though the mat is not included. This step helps maintain water temperature, especially in colder weather.
Once inflated, you fill the tub with water. The digital control panel is your primary interface. You use it to adjust the water temperature and activate the bubble massage. The control panel allows you to set your preferred settings before entering the tub. Heating times may vary depending on ambient temperature.
Daily use involves monitoring water quality. The built-in filtration system keeps water clean. The system includes a removable filter that you can clean or replace. The control panel monitors filter effectiveness. If the filter loses efficiency, the panel displays an "FC" error code. This feature alerts you to maintain water clarity and system performance.
The 100 air jets provide bubble massage during use. These jets create thousands of bubbles for soothing coverage. You can enjoy this feature indoors or outdoors. The durable laminated PVC construction maintains stability during use. The tub holds two people comfortably within its 75 by 47 by 25.6-inch dimensions. You adjust settings as needed for relaxation. The digital interface simplifies these adjustments. You do not need external apps or complex remotes. The control panel handles all necessary functions directly. This setup ensures straightforward operation for everyday spa sessions.
Before You Buy This Tub
You need to plan for accessories before bringing this RELXTIME model home. The listing explicitly states that a thick ground mat is not included. You should purchase one to improve insulation, especially if you live in a colder climate. Without it, heating times may increase significantly, as noted in the controls section. You must also ensure your electrical outlet can handle the pump’s load. The unit is energy efficient, but you should verify your circuit capacity. Water upkeep requires you to buy compatible chemicals and test strips. The filtration system displays an "FC" error when the filter loses effectiveness, so you need replacement filters on hand. This tub fits well if you want a compact, two-person option. It differs from larger models by prioritizing portability over capacity. Check your space dimensions carefully, as the footprint is 75 inches by 47 inches. This model suits those who value bubble massage and easy storage over extensive jetting systems.
Check before you buy
- Buy a thick ground mat for insulation, as it is not included.
- Verify your electrical circuit can support the pump's energy usage.
- Purchase replacement filters to address the "FC" error code promptly.
