Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need precise water temperature control via a smartphone app. The data does not mention a remote control or Bluetooth connectivity. If you require a heated water circulation system beyond the basic filtration, this may not suffice. The unit relies on air jets rather than water jets for massage. You might find the bubble massage less intense than hydrotherapy options. The filtration system shows an FC code if it loses effectiveness, requiring manual filter checks. This model is not for those wanting advanced smart features.
Verdict: The RELXTIME 73-inch inflatable hot tub offers a spacious, durable option with extensive bubble massage for groups. It is a practical choice for those prioritizing capacity and jet count over smart connectivity.
Key Specs Explained
Jet Count: 130
This count refers to the number of air jets included in the unit. These jets release streams of air into the water to create a bubble massage effect. A higher number generally means more coverage across the seating area. You get a wider range of massage points for your back and legs. This spec helps you compare the intensity of bubbling against other inflatable models with fewer jets.
Seating Capacity: 4-6 person
The manufacturer states this tub fits between four and six adults. The 73-inch diameter provides enough surface area for this group size. You should consider the actual space each person needs to sit comfortably. Larger groups may find the seating tighter than expected. This capacity helps you determine if the tub suits your typical gathering size or family structure.
Jet Type: Air jets
Air jets use the pump to push air into the water rather than forcing water through nozzles. This creates a gentle, bubbling sensation rather than a high-pressure stream. It is often considered less intense than hydrotherapy jets. This type is suitable for relaxation and stress relief. You compare this against water-jet models when deciding on massage intensity preferences.
Dimensions: 73 x 73 x 25.6 inches
These measurements define the footprint and height of the inflated tub. The 73-inch square base determines the floor space you need. The 25.6-inch height affects how easily you can enter and exit. You must ensure your patio or indoor area can accommodate this square shape. This data is critical for verifying fit before purchase.
Material: Laminated PVC
Laminated PVC is a multi-layered plastic material used for the tub walls. This construction aims to provide puncture resistance and durability. It helps the tub maintain its shape under water pressure. You compare this material against standard vinyl options for longevity. It suggests a focus on structural integrity for long-term outdoor use.
Design and Build Quality
The RELXTIME PH050015 uses laminated PVC for its main structure. This material choice aims to provide puncture resistance while keeping the unit lightweight. The listing states the tub weighs 69.4 pounds. This weight allows you to move the spa with relative ease when it is empty. The gray finish offers a neutral look that fits various outdoor settings. You can place this inflatable hot tub in your backyard or on a patio. The design supports both indoor and outdoor use, giving you flexibility in where you install it.
Its footprint measures 73 by 73 inches, creating a square layout. The height is 25.6 inches, which determines the seating depth. According to the listing, the digital control panel is built directly into the side. This panel lets you adjust water temperature and bubble massage settings. You do not need a separate remote for basic operations. The control interface is straightforward, allowing you to manage your spa experience without complex setup steps. The digital display provides clear feedback on your settings.
The square design accommodates four to six people comfortably. The 73-inch width ensures enough room for socializing. The 25.6-inch height allows your shoulders to rest against the rim. This dimension contributes to the overall relaxation experience. The laminated PVC construction helps maintain the tub's shape during use. You benefit from a stable structure that does not easily collapse. The design prioritizes durability and ease of use for portable spa owners.
Setup and Daily Operation Guide
You set up the RELXTIME PH050015 by inflating the laminated PVC structure. The listing notes the unit weighs 69.4 pounds, which you can manage alone or with a partner. You place it on a flat, level surface. The manufacturer recommends using a thick ground mat underneath for better insulation, though this item is not included. This step helps maintain heat efficiency during colder weather.
Once inflated, you use the built-in digital control panel to operate the spa. This interface allows you to adjust the water temperature and toggle the bubble massage settings. You do not need a smartphone app or remote control for basic functions. The digital display keeps you informed about the current status of the tub.
During daily use, the 130 air jets create a bubble massage effect. You can control the intensity through the panel. The system includes a built-in removable filtration unit to keep water clear. You must monitor the filter’s condition. If the filter loses effectiveness, the control panel displays an "FC" error code. This alert helps you maintain water quality and system performance. Heating times may extend in cold environments. You should account for this when planning your sessions. The digital controls make it simple to switch between heating and massage modes. You can use the spa outdoors or indoors, provided the space can support the 73 by 73 by 25.6-inch footprint. Regular cleaning of the removable filter ensures the jets continue to perform as specified.
Before You Buy This Spa
Owning this RELXTIME model requires a few practical preparations. The listing recommends a thick ground mat for better insulation, though it is not included. You should verify your electrical outlet can handle the pump’s draw, as heating times increase in cold weather. The digital control panel lets you adjust temperature and bubble settings, but you must monitor the water quality manually. The system alerts you with an FC code when the filter needs attention. Cleaning involves removing and rinsing the built-in filtration system regularly. This 73-inch square tub fits well in medium-sized patios or indoor spaces. Compared to other options on this page, it offers a high jet count for its size. You need to ensure your space can accommodate its 73 by 73 inch footprint. Proper maintenance keeps the laminated PVC structure stable and hygienic over time.
