This segmart 73 inch 4 6 person 130 jet review focuses on a portable spa built for outdoor relaxation. The unit measures 72.8 by 72.8 by 25.6 inches and seats four to six people comfortably. Its two defining specs are the 130 air jets and the heavy-duty three-layer PVC shell. These features work together to provide a full-body bubble massage while ensuring the structure resists punctures and air loss. The external pump includes a digital control panel for easy operation. You get a complete kit with filters and covers right out of the box. This design targets users who want durable, high-capacity hydrotherapy without permanent installation.
What stands out
- 130 air jets driven by a 600W blower for dynamic 360-degree bubble massage

- 1350W heating pump raises water temperature to 104°F with freeze protection
- Includes both an inflatable cover and an insulated locking cover for heat retention
Who it fits
Good fit for
This spa suits families or groups who want a social soaking experience. Its 72.8-inch diameter comfortably fits four adults, making it ideal for weekend gatherings. The external pump design simplifies maintenance and allows easy access to controls. If you have a patio, deck, or backyard with space for a large inflatable unit, this model fits well. The included ground mat and GFCI plug make setup straightforward. You will appreciate the dual cover system for maintaining heat efficiency between uses.
Who should skip it
If you live in California, this product is not available due to specific regulations. You should also look elsewhere if you prefer a compact tub for small spaces, as this 72.8-inch footprint requires a large, level area. The reliance on air jets rather than water jets may not satisfy users seeking intense targeted massage. Additionally, if you want a built-in control panel rather than an external pump, this design may feel less integrated. The heavy-duty PVC construction is robust but adds weight to the overall package.
Verdict: This SEGMART spa offers strong heating power and a high jet count for its size. It is a practical choice for groups seeking durable, portable hydrotherapy.
Key specs explained for this spa
Jet Count: 130
This count refers to the number of air jets included in the unit. A higher number generally means more widespread coverage across the seating area. You will experience a consistent bubble massage throughout the tub. This spec helps you compare coverage density against other models with fewer jets.
Jet Type: Air Jets
Air jets use a blower to push air through the water, creating a gentle bubble effect. This differs from water jets that use pumps for stronger pressure. Air massage is often preferred for relaxation and soothing muscles without intense force. It suits buyers seeking a milder, full-body experience.
Dimensions: 72.8" x 72.8" x 25.6"
These measurements define the footprint and depth of the tub. The square shape fits well in corners or open patio spaces. The height indicates water level depth, affecting buoyancy and comfort. Check your available outdoor area to ensure this size fits your deck or yard layout without obstruction.
Seating Capacity: 4-6 Person
This rating indicates the recommended number of users for comfortable use. It suggests ample space for families or small groups. You can share the experience with friends or relatives. Compare this capacity with smaller tubs if you prioritize social gatherings over compact storage or solo relaxation sessions.
Control Type: Digital Control Panel
A digital panel allows you to adjust settings with precision. You can set temperature and jet intensity easily. This interface simplifies operation compared to manual dials. It ensures consistent heating and massage control, making daily use straightforward for users who value clear, accessible management of their spa functions.
Design and Build Quality
According to the listing, the SEGMART 73-Inch Spa uses a heavy-duty three-layer PVC shell with a high-density mesh core. This construction aims to reduce punctures and air loss compared to standard inflatable models. The material choice suggests better durability for patios, decks, or backyard use. The exterior finish is gray, which blends with outdoor settings. The unit weighs 70.5 pounds, making it manageable for setup but requiring a stable, flat surface to support the water weight safely.
The layout is circular, measuring 72.8 inches in width and length, with a height of 25.6 inches. This footprint accommodates four to six people, offering ample space for family or group relaxation. The controls are located on an external pump unit, not inside the tub. This design allows for easy access and simpler maintenance. The digital control panel lets you adjust bubbles and temperature with one touch. You can set the water up to 104°F.
The kit includes an insulated cover and a ground mat. These accessories help retain heat and protect the bottom layer. The external pump also houses the heating element, which draws 1350 watts. This power level supports rapid temperature rises. The system includes built-in freeze protection for colder months. The external pump design keeps electronics away from splashes, potentially extending the lifespan of the control components. This setup prioritizes practical maintenance over sleek integration.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
Setting up this SEGMART spa is straightforward thanks to the included complete kit. You receive an insulated cover, ground mat, GFCI plug, inflation hose, connection tubes, six filter cartridges, and repair patches. The external pump design simplifies the process by keeping controls accessible and separate from the water basin. This layout allows for easier maintenance and smooth operation without needing to reach into the tub. The digital control panel lets you adjust bubble intensity and water temperature with one touch. You can set the water to 104°F using the 1350W heating pump. The system includes freeze protection to help maintain reliability in colder weather. For daily use, the 600W blower drives all 130 air jets to provide a full-body bubble massage. The integrated filter cartridge helps keep water clear and hygienic, reducing the need for frequent water changes. Two covers are included to aid in heat retention. The inflatable cover speeds up initial heating and blocks debris, while the insulated locking cover helps maintain temperature between sessions. The ground mat assists in stabilizing the unit and boosting energy efficiency during heating. The external pump also allows for simple filter replacement. You should add warm water for a faster start to the heating process. The heavy-duty PVC shell and mesh core are designed to withstand punctures and stretching during regular use. California residents cannot purchase this item due to local regulations.
Things To Check Before Buying
Before purchasing this SEGMART spa, verify local regulations. The listing explicitly states it cannot be sold in California due to specific state restrictions. Ensure your location allows inflatable hot tub installation. You will need a standard outdoor electrical outlet compatible with the included GFCI plug. Do not attempt to use it indoors without proper ventilation and moisture control. Upkeep involves cleaning the integrated filter cartridge regularly. The kit includes six spare cartridges, but you should monitor water clarity daily. Adding warm water initially speeds up the heating process to 104°F. The external pump requires occasional maintenance for smooth operation. This model competes with other portable spas by offering a high jet count and dual covers. However, its heavy-duty PVC construction and specific jet type may not suit everyone. Consider your space constraints carefully, as the 72.8-inch footprint requires a stable, level surface. The included ground mat helps protect the shell, but you must ensure the surface is free of sharp debris to prevent punctures.

- Verify your state allows inflatable hot tub sales.
- Ensure you have a GFCI compatible outdoor outlet.
- Confirm your patio can support the filled weight.
- Check for sharp debris on the installation surface.
