The vidaXL Black Poly Rattan Outdoor Shower stands out with its tall 95.1-inch frame and durable PE rattan construction. It offers a stable acacia wood base that prevents water pooling, making it ideal for rustic poolside rinsing. However, you might seek vidaxl black poly rattan outdoor alternatives if you need a different height, a smaller footprint, or additional features like solar heating. Some buyers prefer enclosed privacy or adjustable spray directions that this model does not provide.
The 6 alternatives listed here were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original product. You will find options with varying dimensions, such as the 84.6-inch Choosilay enclosure or the compact 17.2-pound vidaXL model. Each pick shares core traits like poly rattan materials or hose connectivity, but they address specific gaps in size, weight, or functionality. This guide helps you compare these specs directly so you can select the unit that fits your space and usage needs.
How Each Alternative Compares
Choosilay Solid Wood Outdoor Shower Enclosure
The Choosilay Solid Wood Outdoor Shower Enclosure is significantly heavier at 88 pounds compared to the vidaXL’s 51.6 pounds. It offers a private stall design with a curtain, whereas the vidaXL is an open rinse station. Its height is 84.6 inches, which is shorter than the vidaXL’s 95.1 inches. This unit is best if you need privacy for changing rather than just rinsing off. It uses solid wood construction instead of PE rattan and steel. You should pick this if you want a dedicated changing room at the poolside. It sacrifices the taller spray height and lighter weight for increased security and enclosure.
vidaXL 88.2-Inch Poly Rattan Outdoor Shower
The vidaXL 88.2-Inch Poly Rattan Outdoor Shower is much lighter at 22 pounds, compared to the original’s 51.6 pounds. It is also narrower, measuring 23.6 inches wide versus 39.4 inches. The height is slightly less at 88.2 inches. This model features a grey color and a natural wood base, offering a simpler aesthetic. It is designed for basic garden or poolside rinsing without the extensive coverage of the larger black model. Choose this if you have limited space or prefer a more compact footprint. It gives up the wider stance and taller spray height for easier placement and lower weight.
vidaXL 88-Inch Poly Rattan Freestanding Shower
The vidaXL 88-Inch Poly Rattan Freestanding Shower is the lightest option at 17.2 pounds, significantly less than the 51.6 pounds of the original. It is also narrower at 21.7 inches wide. The height is 88.2 inches, shorter than the 95.1-inch original. This model is available in black and white and is built for simple hose connectivity. It is ideal for buyers who prioritize portability and a small footprint. You should pick this if you need a lightweight, easy-to-move rinse station. It sacrifices the robust, wide base and taller height for a more budget-friendly, compact design.
FMPGJLYH Acacia Wood Outdoor Shower
The FMPGJLYH Acacia Wood Outdoor Shower weighs 42.8 pounds, which is lighter than the vidaXL’s 51.6 pounds. It shares the same 88.2-inch height but is narrower at 23.6 inches wide. This unit features a rotatable spray for adjustable water direction, a feature not highlighted in the original’s fixed top spray. It uses poly rattan and acacia wood, similar to the vidaXL. Pick this if you want to aim the water stream precisely. It gives up the wider, more stable base of the original for a more focused, adjustable spray experience and a lighter overall structure.
LKJVFCPW Acacia PE Rattan Outdoor Shower
The LKJVFCPW Acacia PE Rattan Outdoor Shower is identical in weight to the FMPGJLYH at 42.8 pounds, making it lighter than the vidaXL. It matches the 88.2-inch height and 23.6-inch width. Like the FMPGJLYH, it offers a rotatable spray for adjustable direction. This model is built for users who prioritize height and material quality over heated water options. It is a robust choice for pool or garden areas. You should choose this if you want a durable, natural-looking rinse station with adjustable spray. It differs from the original by being narrower and offering directional spray control instead of a fixed top spray.
Papababe 16-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower
The Papababe 16-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower is fundamentally different as it is solar-heated. It is much smaller, standing at 79 inches tall compared to the vidaXL’s 95.1 inches. Its width is only 9.45 inches, making it very narrow. It holds 16 gallons of water, which the open-frame vidaXL does not. This unit is best for foot rinsing or quick showers where you can wait for solar heating. It suits users with standard hose connections who want zero electricity usage. You should pick this if you need heated water without power. It sacrifices the tall, open structure and instant water flow for solar warmth and a compact footprint.

Other models like the Choosilay reach 84.6 inches, which may be shorter for some users. The vidaXL’s extra height provides better coverage for rinsing off sand or chlorine.
What material is used in these shower structures?
Most options in this list use Poly Rattan or PE Rattan for the main structure. The vidaXL and Choosilay models also incorporate acacia wood for added durability and a natural look. The Papababe model focuses on a solar tank rather than a rattan frame. Poly Rattan is chosen for its weather resistance and rustic aesthetic.
Do any of these showers include heating features?
The Papababe 16-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower includes a solar heating feature. It warms water using sunlight without electricity. Other models like the vidaXL and Choosilay do not offer heating. They rely on your existing water supply temperature. If you want warm water, the solar option is your primary choice here.
Which model offers the most privacy?
The Choosilay Solid Wood Outdoor Shower Enclosure is designed for privacy. It includes a curtain to create a private stall for changing or showering. Other models are open rinse stations without walls or curtains. If you need a dedicated changing room, the Choosilay’s enclosure design is the only one that provides this level of seclusion.

The vidaXL Black Poly Rattan Outdoor Shower is 39.4 inches wide. This is the widest frame in the list, offering a stable base. Most other models, such as the vidaXL Grey and FMPGJLYH, are around 23.6 inches wide. The narrower designs take up less space in your garden or poolside area.
Are these showers suitable for garden use?

Their weather-resistant materials handle outdoor conditions well. The Papababe solar shower is also suitable for gardens due to its portable tank design.
