Looking Beyond the vidaXL Outdoor Shower? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How each alternative compares

vidaXL 88-Inch Poly Rattan Freestanding Shower

The vidaXL 88-Inch Poly Rattan Freestanding Shower shares the same rustic PE rattan and acacia wood aesthetic as the original. It matches the 88.2-inch height and top spray configuration. The main difference is construction weight. This model weighs 17.2 pounds, which is lighter than the 22-pound original. Its footprint is also narrower, measuring 19.7 inches in length compared to 21.7 inches. You get a smaller base that may be less stable on uneven ground. The color option includes black and white, offering a different look than the gray original. If you prefer a lighter structure for easier moving, this is a solid choice. It sacrifices some mass for portability while keeping the same core design.

FMPGJLYH Acacia Wood Outdoor Shower

The FMPGJLYH Acacia Wood Outdoor Shower offers a significantly heavier build. It weighs 42.8 pounds, nearly double the weight of the vidaXL original. This added mass provides greater stability for poolside use. The frame uses poly rattan and acacia wood, similar to the original. It shares the 88.2-inch height and 23.6-inch width. A key difference is the port size, listed as 2 inches. This may affect hose compatibility compared to the standard inlet on the original. The black color gives it a darker, more modern appearance. You get a sturdy station that resists tipping in wind. If you prioritize a fixed, heavy-duty structure over a lighter frame, this model fits your needs. It offers premium stability at the cost of higher weight.

LKJVFCPW Acacia PE Rattan Outdoor Shower

The LKJVFCPW Acacia PE Rattan Outdoor Shower mirrors the FMPGJLYH model in weight and dimensions. It also weighs 42.8 pounds and stands 88.2 inches tall. The width and length match the original vidaXL at 23.6 and 21.7 inches respectively. Like the other heavy option, it features a 2-inch port size. This is a notable difference from the original’s standard inlet. The black finish provides a sleek contrast to the gray original. You get a tall, durable frame designed for poolside rinsing. The construction uses poly rattan and acacia wood for weather resistance. If you want a stable, permanent fixture that does not move easily, this is a strong candidate. It trades the lighter, easier-to-handle original for a heavier, more anchored structure.

Papababe 16-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower

The Papababe 16-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower operates on a completely different principle. It uses a 16-gallon tank heated by the sun rather than a direct hose connection. The height is shorter at 79 inches, which may be better for children or shorter users. The footprint is much smaller, measuring only 9.45 inches in width. You get a dedicated reservoir for rinsing without needing constant water pressure. The black color matches the heavy alternatives. This model is ideal for poolside areas where sun exposure is reliable. It sacrifices the continuous flow of the original for self-contained rinsing. If you want heated water without a hose hookup, this solar option is practical. It offers a different utility focused on stored water rather than direct supply.

RBROHANT Adjustable Height Freestanding Outdoor Shower

The RBROHANT Adjustable Height Freestanding Outdoor Shower provides advanced features missing from the original. It includes a 10-inch rain shower head and a handheld sprayer. The frame is made of stainless steel, offering a modern look unlike the rustic PE rattan. The height is adjustable, allowing you to customize the spray position. The original has a fixed 88.2-inch height. This model also includes a handheld shower head for targeted cleaning. The brushed nickel finish gives it a premium appearance. You get versatile spray options for thorough rinsing. If you want multiple spray modes and adjustable height, this model is superior. It trades the rustic aesthetic of the original for functional flexibility and modern materials.

LDAILY 10-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower

The LDAILY 10-Gallon Solar Outdoor Shower is designed for foot washing and solar heating. It holds 10 gallons of water, less than the Papababe model. The height is 85.5 inches, slightly shorter than the original. It features a rotating shower head and a dedicated foot tap. The black color and compact size make it suitable for small spaces. The solar heating element provides warm water in sunny conditions. You get a specialized station for foot cleaning after pool use. This model sacrifices the full-body rinse capability of the original. It is best for users who primarily need to rinse their feet. If solar heating and foot washing are your main goals, this model fits your needs. It offers a niche solution distinct from the general-purpose original.
