Our top pick: WaterThat 18' x 52" Galvanized Steel Wall Pool.
How each alternative compares
Evajoy 32ft x 16ft Rectangular Frame Pool
The Evajoy 32ft x 16ft pool offers significantly more swimming volume than the 18ft WaterThat model. Its 384-inch length and 192-inch width provide a large rectangular surface for families with ample yard space. Like the original, it uses a sand filter pump and includes a ladder and cover. You gain capacity but sacrifice compactness. This option suits buyers who prioritize durable steel construction and reliable filtration over smart features. If your yard can accommodate the larger footprint, this model delivers substantial water volume for gatherings.
Bestway APX 365 31'4" x 16' Framed Pool
The Bestway APX 365 provides a spacious alternative with a 376-inch length and 192-inch width. It matches the WaterThat pool’s 52-inch height and sand filter pump setup. This model is designed for large yards seeking durable, year-round swimming. You get a substantial swimming area without smart features. The gray color and framed construction offer a sturdy option for those who want easy setup. If you need more space than the 18ft WaterThat kit provides, this Bestway option delivers comparable filtration and height in a larger footprint.
Intex Ultra XTR 32x16 ft
The Intex Ultra XTR features a 32ft x 16ft size with a 59.5-inch height, taller than the WaterThat’s 52-inch wall. It includes a sand filter pump and weighs 490 pounds, indicating a robust frame. This model prioritizes long-term frame integrity and spacious water volume over compact portability. You gain height and capacity but accept a heavier, less portable design. It fits large family gatherings in spacious yards. If you value structural durability and maximum water volume more than the compact nature of the original WaterThat pool, this premium option is a strong candidate.
Bestway APX 365 20' x 52" Pool Set
The Bestway APX 365 20ft pool is a compact alternative slightly larger than the 18ft WaterThat model. It shares the 52-inch height and sand filter pump features. This option suits buyers who prioritize a rust-resistant frame and complete filtration kit over maximum volume. At 240 inches wide and long, it fits smaller yards where 32ft alternatives will not fit. You gain a bit more space while maintaining a manageable footprint. If you need a complete kit for a moderate yard size, this Bestway model offers similar filtration and height with a slightly larger swimming area.
Bestway Power Steel 24' x 12' x 52" Frame Pool
The Bestway Power Steel 24ft x 12ft pool offers a different shape with a 288-inch length and 144-inch width. It matches the WaterThat pool’s 52-inch height and includes a sand filter pump. This model is ideal for homeowners with moderate yard space who prioritize durable steel construction. You gain a wider rectangular shape but accept a narrower width. The tool-free setup and included filtration make it a solid choice. If you want a complete pool for moderate spaces without needing the largest possible volume, this Bestway option provides comparable height and filtration in a distinct footprint.
SunSwell 18ft x 9ft Rectangular Frame Pool
The SunSwell 18ft x 9ft pool is narrower than the WaterThat model, with a 213-inch length and 106-inch width. It features a 47.2-inch height, slightly shorter than the original’s 52-inch wall. This option includes a filter pump and ladder but lacks a sand filter pump. It weighs only 100 pounds, making it lighter and easier to manage. You gain a smaller footprint suitable for tight spaces but lose height and sand filtration.
