Who it fits
Good fit for
This hot tub suits groups who want a social soaking experience. The square shape and 73-inch dimensions provide ample room for six people. You will appreciate the quick 15-minute setup process if you value convenience. The FrostFree feature makes it a practical choice for year-round use in colder climates. The energy-efficient heater and insulated walls help manage utility costs. It is ideal for outdoor patios or decks where you can support the standard weight and dimensions.
Who should skip it
You should look at another option if you prefer a compact setup. The 73-inch square footprint requires significant outdoor space. If you need a portable spa for travel, the 57.3-pound weight and rigid square structure may be cumbersome. Buyers seeking round spas might find the angular design less appealing. Additionally, if you want precise temperature control beyond the standard 104°F max, this model may not meet your needs. The focus is on broad coverage rather than targeted jet therapy.
Verdict: The WAVE Pacific offers a spacious, square design with effective heating and massage features for groups. It is a solid choice for those needing room for six people and year-round usability.
Key specs explained for you
Size: 6 Person | Standard
This capacity rating indicates the tub is designed to comfortably seat up to six adults. You get a spacious layout that accommodates small groups or families without feeling cramped. When shopping, compare this to 4-person models if you often host gatherings. The standard size ensures adequate water volume for effective heating and filtration while maintaining a footprint suitable for most patios or decks.
Dimensions: 73 inches x 73 inches x 25.6 inches
These measurements define the physical footprint and water depth of the unit. The square shape at 73 inches wide fits well in corners or against walls, maximizing space efficiency. The 25.6-inch height provides a comfortable seating position for most adults. You should measure your outdoor area carefully to ensure this footprint fits, as it requires a flat, level surface for stable setup and use.
Weight: 57.3 pounds
This weight refers to the empty unit itself, making it portable and manageable for two people to move. It is not the weight when filled with water, which is significantly heavier due to the water mass. You need a deck or surface that can support the full loaded weight. This empty weight allows for easier storage or relocation compared to rigid, permanent spas that are fixed in place.
Color: Brown Rattan
This finish mimics the look of woven wicker, offering a natural aesthetic that blends with outdoor garden decor. The brown tone helps hide minor dirt or debris better than lighter colors. You do not need to worry about the plastic material looking cheap, as the textured design adds visual depth. This style is common in outdoor spas to maintain a cohesive look with patio furniture and landscaping.
Shape: Square
A square layout provides equal width and depth, allowing for symmetrical seating arrangements. You can face each other across the tub, which is ideal for socializing. This shape often maximizes the number of seats within a given footprint compared to round tubs. When comparing options, consider that square designs fit more easily into rectangular outdoor spaces or corners without leaving awkward gaps.
Design and build details
The WAVE Pacific features a square layout that measures 73 inches wide by 73 inches long. It stands 25.6 inches tall and weighs 57.3 pounds. This footprint fits up to six adults, offering a balanced space for small groups. The square shape allows you to face each other or the center, which changes how you interact with the massage jets. You should ensure your outdoor area can accommodate this width and length without crowding.
The exterior finish is listed as Brown Rattan. This style gives the tub a textured look that blends with garden decor. According to the listing, the unit inflates in about 15 minutes without tools. This quick setup means you can place it on a flat, level surface and begin using it soon after delivery. The design prioritizes ease of installation over complex assembly steps.
Controls and internal features are integrated into the base. The listing highlights an integrated eco-heater and an AquaBubble massage system with 110 to 130 jets. These components are built into the tub’s structure rather than attached externally. The FrostFree technology operates automatically to protect the water in cold weather. You do not need to manage these systems manually during normal use. The design keeps the controls simple, focusing on heating, filtration, and jet activation for daily relaxation.
Setup and daily operation details
You can inflate the WAVE Pacific in about 15 minutes without using any tools. The process is straightforward: you inflate the structure, add water, and you are ready to use it. This quick setup makes it easy to place in your outdoor space. The square design measures 73 inches wide by 73 inches long, providing ample room for up to six adults. Its height is 25.6 inches, which is standard for this category.
For daily heating, the integrated eco-heater warms the water to 104°F. The insulated walls help lock in this heat, which lowers energy use over time. You do not need to worry about cold weather damaging the unit. The automatic FrostFree anti-freeze technology keeps the spa safe during colder months, allowing for all-season use. This feature works automatically to protect the internal components.
Maintaining water quality is handled by the WaveFlow filtration system. It circulates and filters the water continuously. This means you get cleaner water with less manual effort and fewer chemicals. The 110-130 AquaBubble massage jets provide gentle hydrotherapy. These air jets surround you to soothe muscles. The system is integrated, so you do not need separate pumps for the massage function. The cover is included to help retain heat when the tub is not in use. Overall, the setup is simple, and daily maintenance relies on the automated filtration and heating systems.
Before You Buy This Spa
Before you buy the WAVE Pacific, check your electrical supply. It requires a standard 110-130V outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the heater and jets running together. You will need water treatment chemicals to maintain hygiene. The WaveFlow system reduces effort, but it does not eliminate the need for regular testing and balancing. Store your chemicals safely away from the spa area. Consider the installation space carefully. The square shape measures 73 by 73 inches. You need a flat, level surface that can support the full weight when filled. Compare this model to other options in our 1 product list. Some competitors offer different jet counts or heating speeds. The Pacific focuses on energy efficiency with its Eco Heater. This matters if you plan to use it frequently. Check the included cover for durability. You may want a protective cover extender for harsh winters. The FrostFree feature helps, but proper storage of accessories extends lifespan. Plan your maintenance routine early to keep water clear and safe for all six users.
Check before you buy
