Who should skip it
You should look at another option if you live in a restricted state. This model is not available for sale in CA, OR, RI, MA, NJ, ME, NY, NV, MD, WA, or D.C. Residents in these areas must select the EnergySense model to avoid cancellation. Additionally, if you need more than four seats, this tub is too small. The 71-inch diameter limits space. If you require hard-shell durability or advanced digital controls not mentioned here, this inflatable option may not meet your needs.
Verdict: The Bestway SaluSpa Fiji offers a compact, feature-rich inflatable spa with 120 AirJets and freeze protection. It is a solid choice for small groups in non-restricted regions who value portability and ease of use.
Key specs explained
Jet Type: AirJet
AirJet technology mixes air with water to create soft, wide bubbles rather than focused water streams. This provides a gentle, full-body massage that feels soothing without high pressure. You get a relaxing experience suitable for casual soaking. This differs from hydrotherapy jets that target specific muscle groups. It is ideal if you prefer a calm, spa-like atmosphere over intense therapeutic treatment.
Jet Count: 120
This unit includes 120 individual jets distributed around the interior. A higher count ensures coverage across the entire seating area for all users. You benefit from consistent massage pressure regardless of where you sit. Compare this to smaller tubs with fewer jets, which may leave some spots unmassaged. This count supports the two to four person capacity effectively.
Seating Capacity: 2-4 Person
The tub is designed to comfortably fit between two and four adults. This range allows flexibility for couples or small families. You can adjust your usage based on the number of guests. Compare this to smaller one-person models or larger six-person units. This mid-range capacity balances space efficiency with social soaking potential for typical household needs.
Dimensions: 71" x 26"
The tub measures 71 inches in diameter and 26 inches in height. This round shape fits well in standard patios or decks. The 26-inch height provides a comfortable seating level without requiring you to climb too high. Consider your available floor space to ensure this footprint fits. This size is manageable for most outdoor areas while offering ample room for multiple users.
Design and Build Quality
According to the listing, the Bestway SaluSpa Fiji features a round shape with dimensions of 71 inches in diameter and a height of 26 inches. This footprint accommodates two to four people. The internal water capacity is listed at 177 gallons when filled to 80 percent. You should consider how this size fits your outdoor space. The round design encourages social interaction among users sitting together. The height allows for easier entry and exit without bending too low. The construction relies on inflatable materials typical for portable spas. This means you can deflate it for storage when not in use. The model number 60086E identifies this specific configuration. The color option is listed as Fiji. This aesthetic choice allows the spa to blend with various patio styles. The build includes built-in handles for easy transport. You can lift and move the unit with assistance. The inflatable nature requires careful placement on a smooth, level surface to avoid punctures. You must ensure the ground is free of sharp objects before inflation. The round shape also helps distribute weight evenly across the base. This design choice supports stability during use. The 26-inch height provides a comfortable seating posture for most adults. You can adjust your position while soaking. The materials are designed to retain heat and withstand regular use. You should follow the manufacturer guidelines for setup to ensure durability.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
Setup begins with placing the round unit on a flat, level surface. The listing specifies a water capacity of 177 gallons when filled to eighty percent. You connect the included pump to fill and heat the water. The system uses AirJet technology, which mixes air with the water to create bubbles. You adjust the flow to control the massage intensity. The unit includes a ChemConnect dispenser for adding water treatment chemicals. You place the filter cartridge in the pump system to keep the water clear. Daily use involves managing the water temperature and quality. The reinforced insulated cover helps retain heat when the spa is not in use. It also blocks dust and debris from entering the water. This helps maintain water quality between sessions. The cover serves as a barrier against environmental factors. For maintenance, you can remove the filter cartridge for cleaning. The package includes a repair patch for minor punctures. If you live in a cold climate, the Freeze Shield technology activates automatically. This heating function prevents internal components from freezing during cold weather. The spa includes two easy-lift handles built into the side. These handles allow you to move the unit when it is empty. You can transport the spa to different locations with ease. The pump and cover are part of the complete package. You do not need to buy additional basic accessories. The system is designed for straightforward operation. You simply turn on the pump to start the jets and heating. The insulated cover keeps the heat inside when you are not using it. This efficiency helps maintain consistent water temperatures.
Before You Buy This Tub
You should verify local shipping restrictions before ordering. This model is not available in several states, including California, New York, and Washington. If you live in those areas, you must select the EnergySense version to avoid cancellation. The package includes a pump, filter cartridge, ChemConnect dispenser, and repair patch. You will still need a standard water testing kit to maintain proper chemical balance. The insulated cover helps retain heat when the spa is not in use. You should clean the filter regularly to ensure efficient operation. This unit sits alongside other inflatable options in our guide. It offers a gentler AirJet massage compared to models with higher pressure water jets. Consider your space and power source before placing the round unit on a level surface.
